But even if it does turn out next month we are not in recession, we do not have a blistering recovery either. Growth has flat-lined since Cameron and Osbourne got their hands on the wheels of power. And the economy is still about 4% smaller than it was in 2008. So even though the fall in GDP of 0.2% is hardly dramatic, there isn't much to cheer about either.
